Why Jon?

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY NEEDS A SAVIOR.

As Trump grows his fascist regime, we have an opposition party that isn't meeting the needs of 2028. The party has centrists that cede more and more ground to Trump. There are hacks that are all talk, no action, simply trying to advance their political future. We need someone who's not interested in the games and optics of traditional politics. We need someone who's going to fight for progressive values at every turn, not just when it's convenient for the party. Jon Stewart will fight Republicans and Democrats alike to get working people behind the party once again.

For the People.

Jon Stewart has proven time and time again that he has what it takes to not only defeat MAGA in 2028 but also unite the nation in the aftermath.

In 2025 Jon said, "Government may not be perfect, but it is the only thing large enough to offset multinational corporate exploitation and corruption. He play the game of politics; he takes government seriously. His insistence on not running election after election demonstrates how Jon couldn't care less about "climbing up the ladder" in the game of politics. Compare that to other potential 2028 candidates like Newsom, Buttigieg, etc. who only care about advancing their own political future.

Jon Stewart is the no-nonsense candidate for 2028. No more games, and no more gambling with options. The People demand a clear, concise voice that we know will deliver for working people.

This is how we heal the nation after the Trump era. The leader of the country being relentlessly focused on an economic vision for all- not sidetracked by culture war, threats to democracy, or old age- is exactly what we need at this critical point in American history. Jon Stewart will heal this nation's political wounds once he is sworn in as president.

Democrats must Draft Jon for President if they want to win in 2028 and beyond.

A new kind of politics

Let's be honest- the cameras can't stay off of Donald Trump. All attention is good attention, and Trump spun seemingly devastating press to create a positive result for him.

The presidency has already been celebritized. Nothing will change that. To win in 2028, Democrats need to accept that and use it to their advantage. While Trump uses his celebrity status to host a fascist takeover of our government, Jon Stewart can use it as a force for good like nobody else can. Trump's bully pulpit is for keeping his cult of personality in line, Stewart will use his to push for progressive legislation that the American people want.

Not to mention, Jon Stewart has already proven just this- in 2022, he successfully pushed for the passage of the PACT Act, extending healthcare benefits to veterans. For years, he has been involved in efforts to prove healthcare to 9/11 first responders. He never had to do these things. Jon Stewart is a multi-millionaire and could retire right now if he wanted to. But he understands that his position in politics is more important than just himself as a man; something that the vast majority of politicians fail to realize. If Jon Stewart runs for president, it will be and ONLY be for making people's lives better as much as possible in his time in office.
